Default Oil leak

From what I can see there is an oil leak comming form the front left of the engine, and was wondering what it could be from as the plastic protector underneath the car blocks a quick look from below. Also how does one go about uncloging the front water drains, I tried for a while with no success. 1994, 960

Could be Cam seals leaking.

Which drains are you talking about?

The drains are the ones on either side of the windshield I spent a great deal of time trying to unclog them. There was a lot of gunk in them and I removed alot of it but it still takes about 5min for them to drain. The oil is coming from the front left of the black plastic box, I believe timing chain cover, if one were standing in front of the car. About how much would that repair cost? Thank you Tech I love this car but it seems to have a little problem every few weeks, your insight and knowledge is greatly appreciated as I am not to familiar with Volvo's.

For the drains try a thin flexible wire or something like that.

The oil leak might be the Cam seals. Some places will do the timing belt and Cam seals for like $300.00 to $350.00
