Hello all!

I'm new to the forum as I just got a 1988 Volvo 760 Turbo Wagon. The car is doing pretty well so far (I still need to pick up some manuals---Haynes or Chilton, or others?) so I can start to do some of the simpler fixes myself.

Anyway, I can not figure out how the third row seat goes down. The car has power seats everywhere else so I thought maybe there's a button somewhere, but there's obviously no motor in sight for the third row. I'm guessing it's the two latches on either side of the seat but they seem pretty set on not moving.

Any tips? Do you just knock the latches with a hammer or something? Not sure how much force to put into it.
