Questions about my brake rotors
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here and I am hoping to get some assistance on my 1987 Volvo 760 Turbo with ABS.
Bought the car back in November 2021 and have checking over the car to see what it'll need before I make it my daily driver in the spring time. Finally pulled the wheels off as I felt my steering wheel shake when applying the brake which drew me to possibly warped rotors.
I know these cars either had a one piece or retrofitted two piece hub and while looking at what I have I don't know exactly what style mine is. Being in Canada if it is the one piece style it is going to be expensive for me to buy rotors from IPD for example.
Wondering if anyone can take a look at the pictures I've taken and help me clue in to what I have, I haven't actually pulled the rotors off the car as it is too cold up here and would rather do that when it is actually spring time.

I have not seen one piece rotor in 25 years. Looking at yours - where the wheel studs come through the rotor - I would think a one piece would not have a gap there. And is a faint line at the center hub visible?
Your pulsation is caused by all the rust, more than actual "warpage" - the blacker areas have more or less friction and cause pulsation. Glad I don't live where stuff gets that rusty! Take the wheel line up pin out and look for two layers of metal in there. As far as being an abs car - didn't the abs cars have one brake line to the front calipers and the non abs have two (for the "triangular braking system")?
