I just checked online at Autozone for '96; 3 types of pads listed, all applicable to multilink suspension. No 10 or 11 link reference. Maybe the AZ associate was having a bad day?

well I was standing right there and saw it on their computer...and he said it made a difference...but I think I'll try Advanced Auto and see what they say...cause these autoparts stores dont always have it right...and they do vary... there are parts sources here onsite i could order from but I prefer to deal locally if possible.

Talking Been there

You might find a place that has them all in stock. Jack it up, remove the pads (4 bolts), and take them with you to the store so you can compare them.

Or if no one has them in stock ask them to order the others from the warehouse and proceed with the plan above. The Oreillys peple are usually helpful and will order all the versions if you ask them.

If your guy gives you **** about not knowing, tell him to go out to the parking lot and tell you which one it is. Bet he can't

I've never seen a Autozoner that's had a good day... most here are worthless..

Yeah Autozone dont know their azz from a hole in the ground...I wound up buying the european version but had trouble fitting the pads into the calipers, so I took it to my volvo guy and he got it done...
If you're in the A Z store their computer comes up with two choices depending upon it being a 10 link or 11 link multilink suspension...when you go to their website via your own computer...they do not stipulate which multilink setup....rather all the parts listed say "for multilink suspensions"...even so I went ahead with what I thought was correct and got lucky...also had to get 2 new rotors as well.
