Rear End Sway + Electronic Problem

I'll try to keep this as short as possible with the most details, feel free to ask any question if it helps. I am just trying to get intel before I go to the shop to help me avoid getting ripped off. I have a 1994 960 w/220'000km.
The biggest issue I am currently having with this car is that the rear end sways from side to side when cruising. It seems when I am on uneven surfaces and ice it starts to jar back and forth pretty bad once I hit about 50km/h. It is almost like it has zero traction in the rear end. The rear doesn't bounce when it is pushed down by hand and when I hit bumps it doesn't bounce heavily. No grinding or clunking from the rear. I think this might rule out that the struts are blown, but I might be wrong. Any idea what the issue might be?
Second issue is that the cluster throws up random lights, the fuel gauge works randomly and the temperature gauge is dead. I don't seem to have any other electronic issues, just the cluster shows the service light, a bulb warning light and if you rest the trip meter the lights go back out.
I'm not so worried about the cluster issue, I can live with that. I need the rear end fixed though and I know it is a long shot and for the era of the car I doubt electronic failure would cause my sway issues. But I thought I should mention it.
Thank you for the help!

Nivomats were available on your car if equipped with conventional suspension. Multi-link suspensions had regular shocks. You can see them here.
Nivos usually start bouncy when cold, but pump up and smoothen out in a few minutes after driving. Is that what's happening to you? Or are they bouncy regardless how long you drive?
You also have an anti-sway bar. Check if that's broken.

I apologize as I didn't really have the time to review it all with all the running around with family. I brought it into the shop right away and the issue was confirmed as a bent rim (previous owner). Had the rim replaced and the car rides like a dream now.
Thought I should keep anyone who might come across this thread up to date to the result.
