Default 10^6 ECC post

Hello all,

I just put a new Bosch fan motor in my 95 850 along with a new transistor in the power stage (T0-220 form factor) and of course the damn thing wouldn't work.

Before I had a list of codes:

211
411
418
419

And afterwards the parts replacement I only got:

418

So I took the ECC apart and it looked spectacular.

Continuity between the units checked out and so did the voltage spec for the 418 code.

Do I have a 99% chance it is the power stage at this point?

Welcome and that looks high tech! haha

If I remember correctly 418 is for the passenger side cabin temp sensor. Have you checked to make sure its working?

418 = No control signal to blower fan power stage

http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/vol...trouble-codes/

I suppose I should clarify that I am not getting any rotation of the blower motor.

The power stage you reworked may be inop and/or fuse blown. You could try a Junk yard unit to see if it will work without spending a bunch of coin.

Have you crossed post on Matthews site? There are some tech Guru's over there that can better lead you in the right direction. I better clarify that I am no electrical wizard and merely understand the basics when it comes to the ECC system.
