1994 850 Brake repair in progress, Loosened caliper brake fluid leaking out???
Guys,
Need a little help. My 1994 850 needs new brake pads in the rear. So i bought some and I took the out side half of the caliper off on the rear (4 bolts) and brake fluid was leaking out between the caliper... this is not normal? I have done brakes in the past but never did fluid leak on the ground. Any ideas...brakes are spongy as hell now...Plus is the inside half of the caliper just held on by 2 bolts because I couldn't get it off?
Thanks in advance...

Alright guys,
Thanks,
I understand the spring part...now...to bleed the system just loosen the bleeder valve on top of the caliper. and tell the person in the car to push the brake pedal down about 3/4. then keep it there tighten the bleeder valve and repeat...

You are saying, pump the pedal 5 times about...hold it at the floor...then the guy at the back right bleeder screw open it, the pedal should sink(keep it there) tighten the bleeder screw
Please clarify thank you
