Default 1994 850 non turbo acceleration issue

I just bought a used 1994 Volvo 850 non turbo. It runs good, shifts good, and had the timing belt changed less then 10000 miles ago but leaks oil bad. I did my research and decided the PCV system was clogged. I replaced it over the course of several days and all is well. Still a small oil leak on the drivers side but it actually looks like its coming from my transmission .
i put it all back together and the cars runs good, idles good but when I try to take it for a drive it bogs down when I give it gas. I actually have a small sweet spot in the throttle that if I hit it just right it will actually take off slow but it will drive.
Any ideas?

for the oil leak, look up top by the distributor - could be the rear cam seals. If not, then its likely to be the rear main seal. As to the acceleration, when was the last time it got a full tune up - plugs/wires/rotor/cap? Any check engine light/stored codes? Does it behave differently when cold vs warm? There's quite a few things that could factor here. If you don't have codes, I'd start with the tune up (and perhaps check the coil). After that, it could be something simple like the engine coolant temp sensor - something the PCV messed with (dirty intake - MAF, idle air valve, throttle body etc or a stuck/clogged purge valve). Other thoughts would be to check the fuel pressure (weak pump/pump pick up/fuel filter etc).
