Default 1994 Turbo ABS LIGHT ISSSUES TECH?

Hi guys,

Sorry I have not posted complete rear main seal instructions, (posting issues and been very busy) but I am not laid of from work and looking for a new job so I have plenty of time to post.

ANYWAY here is the issue with my sister in laws 94.5 (still has diagnostic ports) ABS light.

She was driving today and car made a squealing noise and was like dragging (I am assuming she was dragging rear wheels that were locked up). ABS & TRACS lights came on. Tracs light went out and squealing went away but the ABD light stayed on.

She stopped by my place and I started it and drove around the block. All was good no ABS light. I then parked and pulled the codes from the ABS module and got just about every code you could imagine. Bad valves, wheel sensors, lost power Etc.

I cleared the codes and got the 1-1-1 but now the ABS light is on permanently??
I started and drove the car still ABS light is on. Parked and pulled codes got 1-1-1.
WTF? Light is on but no codes? I am thinking the ABS relay is bad? Is that the possible cause?

Possible or possible bad module.
Also is the electrical part of the ignition switch good?
If it is going bad then it will keep the light on till the key is played with.

Didn't think of the switch. She does have a MONSTER Key Ring with pepperspray and remotes etc. I will play with the switch. I am thinkink either the switch or the relay. I have a known good module in my wifes car and can switch it in to check. But I am thinking the switch might be it.

I have had to replace a couple of ignition switches in different vehicles due to the old "MONSTER Key ring" issue. I wish people would realize how much strain that puts on the switch! Good luck with your issue and the job search......I'm in the same boat there.
