1994 Turbo Cranks but won't start (Baffled)
Tons of threads on this issue, but we are truly baffled by this.
Car: 1994 850 Turbo, owned by a friend of mine. Car has exhaust, NA cams, intake, etc, etc etc.
Last week the car ran just fine. The next morning, it would not start.
It's getting spark, fuel, and cranks like a champ but won't turn over. On occasion, it has started for just a second or two.
Things tested/replaced:
--Full tune up (Getting spark)
--Fuel pump/relay (pressure is fine)
--MAF
--IACV
--Camshaft sensor
--Electrical connections
One odd note: The tach won't even register RPM jumping at all while cranking.
We've pretty much tested/replaced everything one could possibly think of that would cause this issue, and it still will not run.
Any other ideas before the car gets sold for cheap?

Cranking and turning over is the same thing.
Have you guys checked for codes? Do you have a ECT to change/swap?
Has compression been tested? A car needs 5 things to run: Air, Fuel, Spark, Timing, and Compression.

We've gone through everything imaginable.
It's throwing a code via the diag box under the hood for the camshaft sensor. Even if that is the only thing wrong with it, it's still a money issue.
He doesn't have the money to fix it, so he's selling it on the local CL.
Time for a Corolla for him I guess lol
