1996 850 - interior light problem?!?!
So to start things off, i've been doing a beautiful red LED conversion to my 1996 volvo 850 sedan (base), I finished late last night on doing the foot wells so when i open up the car it lights up the floor in front and in the back.
So today since I'am installing these LED strips in my car I thought i would install some behind my instrument cluster so i can see my guages, my dash lights don't work and I cannot find the short so this was going to be a temporary fix till I could solve that problem. So I have a ton of extra wire, and I was just going to effortlessly wire it from a rear interior light, then pull all the other bulbs out from the other interior lights (I never use my interior lights btw) that way with a flip of the switch on top I could turn on some LED's.....
Then beforeIi did any cutting, I was testing to see if my LED strip would get power from the light wires, I tested it with the red/wht wire still connected, the blue, and the blue/blk wires, flipped the interior lights on and then nothing....I checked fuse #15 because I blew it 2 times while installing the footwell LED's, but i replaced it and nothing...
Anyway, if I could get some help on this one, it would be amazing, and I will upload photo's of it after with the tools and supplies
