Have the opportunity to get a '96 850glt (non-turbo), 5-speed, auto-air, TRACS. Seems to be pretty well loaded, but does not have the info center or cd deck. Thing is, I'm a bit concerned about the price and wanted to get input from the group: It has 209k on the clock and they want $4500... Thoughts? Don't know much about the mechanical aspect as I only saw it last night and the place was closed. I'm not real interested in a turbo car (too much to go wrong imo), but REALLY want a stick.

non turbo 5 speed 209k..the body and mechanical aspect of the car must b in tip top condition..other than that i would look somewhere else

 

Way too much $$$, I got a 96 turbo with 140k,. loaded for $2200 here in Massachusetts last year. We have plenty of them around here for sale now in the $2000 - $3000 range. Seems they where big sellers in there day, now everyone is trading out of them. Silly boys.

 

Yes way to much. I only paid 4k for my Yellow one with 87k on the clock!!!

 

$1500-$2000 is a more reasonable price

 

That's kind of what I figured and why I've balked so much. It is in real nice shape, but I was thinking *maybe* 3k as an extreme...
