Hello guys,

When I got the car it didn't come with a door lock remote so I looked into the car a bit more and it didn't have the remote receiver behind the glove box either. I got a new receiver from the junk yard. Now I need to get the remote. Does anybody have a picture of an R remote so can get the right one?

The remote receiver on the '96 was moved. The remote should be the long one with a big button and a small button.

The most important thing is to find your receiver box, get the FIC code off of it, and get a remote with the same code. The '96 cars came with 2 systems, not sure which is which as far as the vin is concerned.

 

Robert, do you know where the box might be? It's not behind the glove box... Where else did they hide them in 1996?
