Hi, I am installing new front door speakers in my 1997 850. I removed the grill and speaker from the door, but I don't know how to remove the wires from the speaker. I did not see a harness in the door, i will post a picture of the wire. Thanks for the help

the wires pull off right at the speaker terminal.

 

I tried pulling them off but im afraid im going to break something. Are you saying to rip the wire off from where it connects to the speaker? (the blue plastic thing in the pictures? )

 

+1 with IB... they just slip off, sometimes they are sung because they have been on for 15 years. If your replacing the speakers, the new ones (unless they are volvo) wont have the same connection sizes.

You will have to use the connectors that the new speakers came with

 

the two black plastic things that are different sizes that are right at the terminals should slide right off. you may have to wiggle them a bit.
