1997 850 wagon?
I tracked down a 1997 850 SE wagon at a local dealer.
I checked it out, have not yet driven it. It is mint! What caught my eye was the mileage.
78,000 KM.
I rummaged through the glove compartment and located the owners manual and as well the original bill of sale was still there.
I took down the info from there and contacted the original owner.
I asked him all kinds of questions about the car and he confirmed that it was legit. He does not drive a great deal and hence the low kms.
He confirmed no accidents and just before he traded it in, he had the back brakes done and the AC had been redone about a year ago.
He traded it in for an S80 volvo.
He said he was getting a couple of error codes and lights illuminating on the dash. He does not recall what they were, but the dealer
had quoted him 1500.00 to service them.
He traded it in to Volvo against the new S80.
The dealer must have wholesaled it (Actually the guy said the dealer had planned to from the start)
the car comes with a set of snows on rims as well as a roof rack.
The dealer selling it wants 10,500 Canadian for it, with a 2 year powertrain warranty.
The dealer says that he does not have any room to negotiate, although I will anyway.
And of course the error codes/dash lights will need fixing too.
Your thoughts?? Feedback???
