2nd Volvo
Just became a 2 Volvo family. We purchased a 96 850 GLT with 127K. Has always been serviced by Volvo dealer. Drove like a dream. Leather in great condition (tan). Paint unbelievable (black). Has premium sound system (see wanted section for CD changer request). It is going to be my sons car when he turns 16. Came with a 60 day 1,500mile warranty so I'm going to be driving it for the next couple of months to find any bugs (hopefully there wont be any). A one owner car that has never been wrecked. If I sound excited I guess maybe I am.

RE: 2nd Volvo
Once I stop driving it I will go back to my 02 S60. Good idea on the timing belt JPN. We looked through all the service records from the current Volvo dealer (Volvo of Louisville who took over the dealership from Tafel) in Louisville, Kentucky. I don't remember seeing that but we didn't look at every single thing they had done. They also said we could get the service records from Tafel, which I'm probably going to do.
Yeah Axel he's pretty excited about getting it, even after I threatened to kill him if he wrecked it, since he wouldn't get hurt if he were in a wreck in a Volvo. Got to get the CD changer, or he's going to wear me out whining about not being able to play CD's.
The fact that it was a Volvo which are known to go forever and are very safe, along with the shape that it was in were the deciding factors in purchasing.
Will probably be asking a number of questions in the forseeable future.
