850 A/C- ECC control panel and blower motor
I have a 93 850 with a defunct A/C ECC control panel. Current cash flow conditions prevent me from replacing the $ 700 module and don't feel comfortable replacing it with a used unit.
The question I need an answer to is can I disconnect the blower motor from power and not effect the
cars computer?
I'd like to patch a switch inline to control the blower motor, when it's not needed.
(The blower runs at full speed all the time and being in Texas, its like riding in front of a hair dryer)
Appreciate any advice or suggestions,thanx.

You will be fine installing the switch. Just cut the main power wire that is staying on and run both wires to the switch and you will be ready to go.
