Hello,

I have a 97 850 GLT that suddenly died on me on the hwy. The engine turns over but doesnt ignite. getting fuel to the rail, no spark at the plug, faint spark at the coil wire only when grounded, does not arc to ground though. Changed plugs, cap & rotor no success. Trouble codes are a p0115 eng. coolant temp & a p0722 Output speed sensor. A volvo tech is pretty sure that the output speed sensor is to blame. Does anybody know if this a common problem or the fix? i dont want to start buying sensors and coil or relays obviously if its wont fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the plug for the Cam sensor.
