About 5 minutes. Try not to break the fragile plastic clips.

Are you sure the switch is bad?

Ignition switch or head light switch.

How do you know that the bulbs are good?

I linked a couple of video's on the other thread you posted on. Ignition switch as well as the head light switch can cause brake light issues. This I know.

You should get an ohm meter and check for power at the switch before replacing it.

Robert can you explain to me how a head light switch affects brake lights?

I would expect them to affect tail lights but not brake lights.

I am confused.

I would have thought either the brake light switch, or the bulb failure warning relay might be the issue.

Default Brake light switch upper clip

I can't see the other clip on the Brake light switch...how do you get at it without braking it?
