I recently noticed a special manual cover on eBay for 850R's.

Instead of being the dark chocolate brown colored suede like my 97 has, it was black, with an inlaid Ivory stripe.

The black part was suede, the Ivory stripe part matches the non-suede portions of my seats.

Which manual would be 'correct' for my car?

I know in some ways, it's moot on a 16 year old car.. but I've always tried to make sure I had all the 'correct' paperwork and documentation for cars I've owned.

 

Sounds like you have the proper manual cover. The one you seen is likely for the '95 model cars.

 

The confusing part is, it says 850R, and everything I've read indicates 850 R's were only made in 96 and 97?

The content should not be any different. T-5R was up to 95, from 96 on they were called 'R'
