96 850 turbo does not smoke when first started . It smokes when warm when I leave a stoplight after sitting for a minute. Started doing this after a trip where I was cruising on the highway and heard a pop and the car let out a large cloud of smoke. After the cloud it didn't smoke while driving until after sitting at a light . Once I get going after sitting it stops smoking until I sit again. Ideas??

 

Check oil for anti-freeze and vise versa. You may have blown a head gasket. Other than that, when was the last time the PCV system was replaced? Do you still have boost from the turbo? What color is the smoke?

 

No problem with oil. I have only had the car for 6 months. The turbo is working but is sluggish...........
