Smoking while idling

Smoking while idling
Several days ago I started my 2000 C70, when I returned several minutes later I notice smoke coming from the exhaust with NO ruff idling present. The car has no warning light on, nor does it have any lost in power or performance it drives just fine. What can this problem be? After driving one to two minutes the problem will stop. It only starts after I allow it to sit and idle for servral minutes.

RE: Smoking while idling
we need a lil more info. how much smoke is it? a steam train? mosquito truck? morning condensation?
how does it smell? any color of the smoke?
also make anote of your engine oil level and coolant level. if either one is getting lower during the course of a week you found it
i don't want to alarm you, but it could be anything from engine oil burning from leaky valve seals or turbo seals or worst, a head gasket is about to go. but find out first what your burning and how much.
