850 Turbo Howling
Hi,
We are trying to figure out what this howling noise is when the throttle is opening. In addition to that it seems that the throttle stays open for an extended period of time and the idle is erratic when cold. We got this car for cheap and the engine doesnt seem like its entirely maintained but its not in horrible condition after some replacements.

When I replace the turbo in my car I had the same problem afterwards. Turns out one of the fans on the turbine wheel got chipped. Has to be completely balanced. I had to pull it out and replace it again now it’s good . It also wasn’t 96 850 R
