Well i have a 95 turbo wagon automatic with 187,000 miles and recently started having problems with it. It runs ok most of the time but it started reving high while at a stop sign or red light anywhere from 1500 to 2500 rpm out of know where and its freaking my wife out. Also its been rough starting. And when it does it lets out alot of smoke. Can anyone help????

 

What color smoke?

 

sounds a lot like a MAF sensor. can prolly pick one up fairly cheap at a salvage yard (we let em go for 50 or 60 bucks when we have one)
