Three T5-R threads !!!!!!
They have a T5-R badge. And they were only made in 95. And they're only black or yellow. And they have suede on the edges of the seats, not the middle. And the arm rest is suede, not leather. And the steering wheel has a suede insert, not a different color leather.

I believe the turbo is the same, just has other things different like the suspension, ecu (boost hp for the 1st 5 seconds), interior, color, stereo, etc. You can go to www.VolvoCars.com and look in the owners documents and see what Volvo had to say about the T-5R differences.
Also, they are rare, especially the yellow ones.

True the actual T5R was only made in 95 and came only in yellow and black. But in 96 and 97 Volvo made the 850 R which is virtually the same car as the 95 T5R. If you do a search on Autotrader you will see that most list their 96 and 97 R's as T5R's. I have a 97 R in white and a yellow T5R and they seem like the same car. I have 15" wheels on the R though which makes it ride much smoother than the 17" wheels that come standard on them.
