I buy this volvo 850 turbo on $800 with a lot of problems but I buy it becouse is a good car. the transmision won't shift i think is a electrical problem becouse the mechanic made one air flow mass sensor temporary and the car transmision shift but when he put the original air flow i buy the car won't shift rare for me. the air flow sensor fix some of the problems... can someone help me think how to solve this problem.

 

Hi, I have a 97 850 and the trans locked up in one gear. It turned out to be a selonoid in the trans and ran me $175 to repair. Has been fine since.
