Default 850 vs. 1998 V70 question

Will the front sheet metal on these two cars interchange? I can see the front styling is different, but it looks like it might work if I change it all. The sides of the V70 just look like an 850 to me.

If nobody knows, I'll just assume none of you all are red necks, ha ha.

I have found a fairly nice running 98 V70 which hit a deer. 850 parts are easy to find.

It does work, has been done before. I think you need to swap the radiator support, in addition to the obvious hood/fenders/bumper/headlights.

Thanks! I did some searching and found several threads on the interchangeability. I tried to delete my post, in fact, but I do not see a button for that on this forum.

I had to use google to search this forum, because the forum itself doesn't allow you search short strings. Volvo model names are all 3 digits and unsearchable.
