is there a way to reset the adaptive program on the ecu without a computer? it was reset by a mechanic and then not driven enough so it has poor fuel economy still, like it never learned enough after the reset, it runs like it is still cold. like a motorcycle with the choke on all the time, giving too much fuel.

if you have any clue how to reset it without taking it to the mechanic let me know, i can't really spend the money right now.
