Default 850 Wagon Grille painting opinions.

Best opinions for a silver car. Thanks guys. Besides these i was also thinking about a really dark titanium color. Would turn out similar to this color combo.

Painted Black with badge on.

That dark Titanium would look killer on a silver car.
Keep the emblem on the grill. IMHO, It looks unfinished without it.

I don't really like the black grill, especially on the light colored cars, like white. I think the titanium would look good on grey. Keep hunting down photos to see.

That read 850 looks a little sad with the black grill because the bumpers are not black. May have been fine with black bumper trim.

I like the Anthracite color of the wheels much better than black. Don't like the all black grill at all. Just does not look finished or like the grill is actually missing. But i don't like black wheels either. I do like the look of Boxpin's grill, but the anthracite in place of the black on that might look even better.

I think i'm gonna go solid on the anthracite. I don't want any chrome.
heres another image of the Duplicolor WP102 in use on some Audi wheels. I think it would look good and be a tough paint as well. Chip resistant.

If you want a do over kinda thing.... Spray it with plasti-cote first.. you might even like the look of just the plasti-cote..

The reason for the plasti-cote is you spray it first with the plasti-cote than paint it. if you dont like the look after a couple days you just peel it off..

I holds up very will to weather and road grime.

That looks a little too dark than what I'm looking for. Im thinking about removing the emblem assembly too and taking a dremel to the threaded areas. I think it would look super clean.

Should I mask of the badge like this or paint over? I was thinking of only masking of the center square emblem and painting everything else.

Well thats not my car. Just a sample. I think i'm gonna just tape off the square. even paint the chrome trim around it leaving just the logo.

Man, that grey wagon is very sweet. R bumper, nice paint job, mirrors with light (didn't even notice that), darker grill (I would not go blacker than that), eyebrows, I love it. If that thing had HID's and angle eyes, that would have been to sweet.

The white one my be a '96 R without the r spoiler. They take them off a lot in the NE. To hard parking up there.
