I am restoring a volvo 850 wagon, and need some trim pieces, both internal and external. For starters, where can find this small black end piece for the trim on the roof exterior. It is a small black trim piece, and is missing from the left side roof trim. (the right side has it intact. -- see pix). Is this piece unobtainium?

If you simply want to get the black color back on top of the metal, I found some 5/8" or 3/4" electrical tape that I stuck on and it worked fine (take a quick measure then google). Note most tape rolls are 1/2 inch so you may have to look around. The other option is to reach out to recycle yards - Voluparts and Erie VoVo are two that specialize, but you can also search using car-part.com by looking for some generic parts for the 850 wagons then see if they have the body still in the yard. PS - I have a box of odd 850 parts that need a good home ($ free) - Radio, injectors, seals etc. PM me if you are interested.

 

on ebay uk, i found that trim part. my wife’s cousin who lives in london sent it to ne in tge states. thanks for all the comments!
