Finally getting my 1995 850 Turbo squared away. 120k on it, new trans.
I've put maybe1500 mileson it since I've owned it. It had a cold idle problem, which was whole-heartedly remedied with a new Bosche TPS (thanks forum!).
Now, the only ****ly issue I have left is that it takes an extra second to second and a half to start. It turns and crank well, but it just takes a bit longer than any other car I've owned. Starts up well, every time, just seems to take longer than any other car. When already warm, it is faster, for sure.
Now, I'm not like on it for 7 seconds or anything. It's really just 1 or 1.5 seconds over what I would consider 'normal'.
What should I be looking for?

How's the battery? If it's turning over just a little slower that will cause it to take longer. I don't think I would worry about it unless it gets to where it takes a good bit longer. My cars don't all start as soon as I turn the key, but I don't really count the seconds either.
