'93 850 GLT - Intermittent Stalling
93 Volvo 850GLT; intermittent starting/stalling issues. More issues when humid?
Symptoms: car won't start w/o cranking for 3 minutes OR starts/stalls immed. after. Eventually starts then stalls 1-2 times in first 10 min but starts again. Then good for 2 weeks and repeats. Only few times car just stalled while driving after no issue starting
1st Time in Shop: Code:3-2-4 Camshaft Position Sensor sporadic (could not confirm/reading; then norm); Ignit system = no signs of misfire; Fuel pressure OK; ECU term/conn OK2nd Time: Replicated problem by saturating ignit system w/ water; Confirm moist buildup in DC; Replaced Dist Cap & Rotor/wires; Drove later & stalled 3 times.
3rd Time: Car in shop/no detailed report; Found corroded wire/conn Crank Shaft Pos Sensor; Replaced CSPS Friday; Tech drove & car stalled today
Thoughts? Thanks!

You have either power or ground loss. My recommendation is to check all wiring connections on a vehicle that is nearing 30 years of age. I also suspect that the weather seal on the connectors is not in place allowing moisture to get in and play with the crank sensor signal.
Take the couple of hours to check all wiring and connections. Also trace the ground wires along the system to be sure that they are not corroded and/or broken.
