94 850 NA - Can't get my Key out???
Drove to work this morning, parked, shut the engine off and my key won't come out. Tried turning the steering wheel a little each way, tried turning the steering wheel a LOT each way, and it still will not come out. Pulled quite hard and wiggled and jiggled but no luck. Took my key fob off and locked it with the key in the ignition. (Not that anybody would want to steal that fine machine!) I've just finished putting almost $2K worth of parts into her and she's running smooth as a Cadillac, my first Volvo and I love it!!! There seems to be a lot regarding ignition switch problems but have not come across anything about the key being stuck. Suggestions please..... Thanks!

The car is likely not all the way in park. It has to be in park and the button has to pop out to allow the key to be released. Shift it in park and feel the button to make sure it's all the way out, if it's not out, you can likely pull it out.
This is a common problem and happens more with the S70's I think. You can replace the button to cure the problem. I think a spring comes loose in there.
