I offered him 800 thru email, he mailed back saying 900, I called him and asked if timing belt has been changed and if odometer worked, told me no on the belt and none of the intruments work?? Any ideals or should I cross this off my list and not go look at it,,also told me the driver window is off the track

Scary if you ask me. These things typically dont leak from the valve cover. Could have a PCV issue that is causing the oil leak but it could have also blown the rear main. You should find out before you buy since the rear main is not fun.

The Staul or lope could be the car hitting fuel cut off which means someone may have altered it in some way or tightened up the wastegate rod. A lot of mystery in this one that you really need to be careful with. Most people on Craistlist will hint to problems but blow them off as not a big issue such as this guys valve cover gasket comment. Its his way of playing dumb.

Be careful on this one.
