95 850 turbo alarm not working

95 850 turbo alarm not working
My remote stopped working about a year ago. However, the red LED light still worked. Now all of a sudden no LED light.Any suggestions as to why no LED light? Also, how do I re-program the alarm/remote? I noticed that a new model 850 had flashing lights when arming and disarming the alarm.What dl I have to do to get this to happen?

My little red light on the dash lights up but not the parking lights.
My alarm arms sometimes, depends on the rear hatch. If the rear hatch does NOT lock, the alarm will NOT arm. I have to go back to the hatch and do the key back there. After locking the rear hatch it will arm.
If that is your issue, you have a bad wire in the rear hatch hinge area.
