Hi all, been fixing this car up for a while now getting it to Stage 0 when I noticed the purge valve had a cap in it instead of a vacuum hose. Am I correct in assuming that the place where the cap is located has a vacuum line that plugs into this port on the evap canister? Correct me if this isn't the evap canister, there wasn't a vacuum line in the purge valve for me to trace and I just got an emissions code, 315; which I believe is due to the nonexistent vacuum hose.

Your two pictures show:

The top picture is the purge valve bracket that vents gas tank fumes back into the intake - from maybe the charcoal canister (can't remember exactly)

The bottom picture - I'm pretty sure is the vacuum pump for the cruise control.

 

Thanks, I figured it might’ve been for the cruise control. I’ll see if I can find the charcoal canister, I think it might be behind the fender.
