Hi, I have an 850 Turbo wagon, I´m having troubles with my A-C, the compressor starts and cools very well, but after a while it stops, it kicks the clutch out and blows only fresh air, if I hit or touch the clutch, it starts blowing cold air again, sometimes for 40 minutes, sometimes just 5 minutes, Could it be that it doesn´t have enough freon? or what else could make it stop working?, when it works, it works really fine... I will really appreciate your help, thanks.

 

The Clutch is worn to much.
If you are handy you can try reshimming the clutch.
If not replace it.

Most of the time when the clutch gets like that it is time for a rebuild of the entire thing.
