I recently made the mistake of putting gas in my 95 850 turbo while a tanker was there filling the tanks I made it to work with no problems but on my break i went out and started my car and was letting it idol and it chugged a little and died. Later it was still doing it, the less gas left in the tank the worse it got but then more things started happening. When it would die and i would try to restart it there would be power but wouldnt start so I would try again to start it and there would be little to no power like every thing is drained and then if i wait a minute there is full power and it starts again. It has also started accelerating on its own. I put a 4 in 2 octain booster/water reducer/other stuff in a full tank of gas, change the fuel filter and spark plugs and it is still dying. I was able to drive it for 2 1/2 days with no problems then i just died right after i started it and it took me 5+ minutes to get it started again. If any one knows what could be causing this i would appreciate the help thanks

 

Try not to tie your problem to the tanker dropping off fuel.
It sounds more like you might have a fuel pump relay that's starting to fail.

 

Do you have a CEL?

 

I wasnt blaming it on the tanker i was merely explaining what happened.
