96-850 Mass Air Sensor
After recent fill-up, engine bogged dpwn and died. Changed fuell filter, checked rail pressure etc to no avail. Got a code readerr; Results ; Mass Air problem. Suspected defective sensor but disliked shelling out $156 for new Borsch on net and find sensor wasn't bad. I suppose all knew except me that the best check is to disconnect the sensor and start car. This puts engine in limp mode to get one on the way. After disconnecting motor ran OK with a little hesitations at low RPMs and as soon as I reconnected, engine would shortly die. Put a new MAS in. Runs like a charm now.
