Default 96 850 turbo wagon - won't start

My 850 is out in the cold - it's -10 degrees on average where I live right now - I have kept the tank nearly full and added iso-propyl alcohol to keep away from condensation, but yesterday my car wouldn't start after only 3 hours out in the cold. If I try to start, it just catches at the beginning a little and then won't spark really if I keep holding the ignition on. Any ideas for cold weather troubleshooting??

First, welcome to the forum.

Where are you located? If it's that cold, do you have a engine block heater? Is this the first winter you've had the 850? Any maintenance done to it recently?

A few thoughts; check for spark, fuel & air. Make sure the plugs & wires are good, you have fuel pressure and airflow is not restricted.

Another thought; move someplace warm!!

I am not 100% clear -- is the starter cranking the engine, but no start? Tune-up (wires, plugs, distributor, rotor) done? Battery condition? CEL on? Pulled codes?

Assuming you are using isopropyl in the correct amount / mixture, right? (I have no idea what that would be). I would buy Gas Antifreeze and use it according to instructions on the label.
