Default 96 855 sluggish around 3500 rpm

I'm new here to the forum but I have a 96 855 with obx exhaust and a green tune. The problem I have been trying to solve is at WOT is at about 3500 rpms it like looses all power and slowly starts to get it back just not running as it should.
Things I have done
Pcv system
Msd coil
New plugs wires rotor cap plugs gapped (.28)
Fuel filter
Ard tcv
Ipd CBV
Wastegate adjusted 4.2 psi
New o2 sensor

I have been searching threads trying to find next place to look and just cannot figure it out I also run 91 octane and from a dig it will spin the tires no problem until 3500 any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also have ard green and pretty sure recommended wastegate setting in 3.4 psi.

Have you done a stage0, ckd compression, any codes set, etc.?

Oh yeah, do you have boost and/or A/F ratio gauges?

I contacted lucky about the wastegate he recommending 3.7psi and work from there but wasn't reaching 17psi until i bumped it up to 4.2 to reach 17psi
I do have a boost gauge but not A/F
I have done full stage 0 no codes but have not checked compression I guess I'll check that tomorrow.

Did a compression test today
#1 125 psi
#2 135 psi
#3-5 130 psi
So I don't think that's the problem either.

Ahhhh, that is likely the problem. Compression numbers should be 156 - 186. Did you do it warm? Wet it?

Oh, one other thing. Sometimes the intake tube collapses under WOT. The one coming off the top of the inter cooler to the intake.

I hope you were using some POS gauge and those numbers are wrong; otherwise you're looking at some engine work..

If those numbers are real, this thing probably barely runs, hard to start, etc.

Yeah I did the test after driving it quite a bit I may try and post a video better explaining it it does pull pretty good but just doesn't seem to rev out as it should so it could be a tired motor but as for the hose that also could be it when I first got the car it use to collapse when the inter cooler froze from a worn out PVC but I never changed it because it didn't have the problem but that was stock car now running 17 psi it could very well be the problem I'll have to check. And also the wagon uses no oil.

That's what I'm starting to think as we'll I'm going to buy a new gauge because the car idles fine no shudders uses no oil and overall runs fine just doesn't rev out and seems chocked out which is making me feel it could be that upper hose but I'll do another test new gauge and hope for better numbers.

If you have another car you can drop that gauge in one of those cylinders to see if it read low.

I took another test with a new gauge and all cylinders are high 170s so I'm going to cross that off the list of possible issues and I took a look at my hoses and the upper intercooler hose is very soft along with the tb hose so going to order and hope that's the issue thanks guys for the help I'll keep you updated if the problem is fixed or not.
