Yeah, ECU's will be the same. But you won't find a manual R in there anyways, so it doesn't matter.

 

If he is in Canada then yes he will.
But then make sure it is an Auto ECU.

Man I wish I was up that way and one of the R's had the trunk spoiler. I want a newer R one so bad. But I cannot see spending over $200.00 for one.

 

Agreed. 200 dollars for that extra little lip on them. Hard to justify sometimes.

I want them, but I think the distance would be too much for me and the price to get them here would be A LOT. If you got the whole car though, You could strip out that interior and make a pretty decent coin.

I meant if I was there I would search the yard for the newer R spoiler. I did not see it on one of the cars there but the 96 and 97R's have a unique spoiler.
The center top portion is gray and it turns up some.
I was looking for a pic but cannot.

 

You could sell the seats, the door inserts, the steering wheel, the shifter, the e brake handle, the floor mats, the door sills, and the trim. All are seeked out items.
