Default 96 Volvo 850 R Value?

Just looking to see what you guys think is a good price for this car.

A 1996 850 R. It has a black exterior and the greyish two tone interior. 177k miles. The car has a long service history. The car is very clean and has no issues.

Also have been looking at regular 850T models.. I can get them for way less cash and way less miles.

SO what do you guys think would be a good price for this with such high miles?

Those miles are really not that high. Miles are not much of an issue. The issue is, how was it taken care of and maintained? Is it ragged out?

Any nice 96 850 should be priced from 3500-5500 depending on condition, even the R model. What is the price of the car in question?

So, are you waiting for someone else to buy it out from under you? A clean 850R for $2500 should already be in your garage.

Yeah true.

I could find regular turbo cars with way less miles for way less cash. This will be my 2nd volvo so I dont need. I may buy it and resell?

If you don't buy it right now, I'm going to come and buy it before you do. Obviously whoever hast the car doesn't know that one in that condition and mileage could go for a couple grand more.

I will tell you that an R with that extensive of history since day 1 AND a new transmission on an average will go from $4,000-$5,500 all day, every day!!! Like someone said above, you need to buy this NOW before it is sold from under you!

Screw it, where is your location? I'm either in my car with it running or at the airport ready to board to come to where ever the car is.

Post up some pictures and let us know where you are located. Also, how much you thinking of letting it go for?

Well what other Volvo's do you have??? And if it's in good of shape as you say it is, I think you could probably make about a grand off of it. If your giving him 3k for it, then your obviously not going to make as much.
