96 wagon roof rack & cargo area q's
*i was thinkin of removing the roof racks on my wagon. i see the bolts on top. is it just unscrew & lift off? would there be any sealing/leaking problems?
*i wish i had a black interior due to my line of work. where & how much do those rear rubber cargo (fitted) mats go for?

iPD sells the mats. I think they're like $60 or so.
As far as removing the roof rack, you'll probably have to look into to getting the non roof rack covers.
I think it looks better with them on.

Why would you want to get rid of your roof rack? They are hard to come by and the car looks better with them. Nobody will ship the black strips that go on when you remove the rack. They are too flimsy to ship. I had a set, but cut them to go on my other car.
Lower CD (coefficient of drag) improves fuel mileage. I am glad my V70 has no roof rack.
The roof rack consists of nothing but euro rails that run from front to back. As long as you don't have the cross pieces on I don't see where you could get any measurable wind resistance. Now when I have my kayaks strapped on the top I get about 6 mpg less because of the resisitance. You can even feel the drag on the car with them on it. But I have traveled 600 miles each way with the kayaks on the roof. I think it's great to be able to do that and you could not without the euro rails.
