Did you look through the AC sticky?

Even if the blend-door was having trouble working the air flow the system should still be cold. I would jump the pressure switch to see if the compressor comes on and stays on.

The a/c stays on,I hear the compressor kicking on all the time. I have no heat.the heater core gets up to temp. So either its the ? that keeps the compressor on,or//
This is a question ,I guess I dont know how to use this site yet.

When you turn the AC on inside the car does the compressor kick in and stay engaged or does it cycle on an off continuously ?? You seem to say both or at least it isn't clear to me which you say your system is doing.

Hey I dont really call for anything, the ac is on all the time,I hear the comp clicking on and off maybe it is trying to maintain temp. I just bought the car the ride home was cold so I turn the fan off, yesterday I took the relays out to buy new ones,I replaced one and now not even the fan works so I put the old relay back and still no fan, Im talking about the relays behind the glove box, I looked at the comp so I could uplug a wire so I could have heat but I didnt see anything to unplug, tight area there. The core is fine and hot. I didnt but a manual yet because they seem to vague to me. Thank you

Read the ac sticky. It explains a lot about AC. If the ac is cutting on and off a lot, you likely have a low service condition, bad ac clutch, or bad pressure switch.

The system in a Volvo should turn on and you should hear the electric clutch kick in and then stay engaged. If you can hear it cycling then you have a problem as RSPI outlined and you need to do some reading.
