ABS light came on 1995 850
If yours has an OBDII port above the shifter like mine does you can go to OReilly and borrow their scanner. They have one that does ABS and all you have to do is give them your license and use it in their lot. You can read the code, reset the light and then drive it and see if you set the code again.
It will not do the SRS (air bag) light. That would be dealer or the 70.00 air bag only tool that IPD or Groton sells. OR, if you're lucky the diagnostic center under the hood will let you read and reset if yours has one.
I know that O'Reilly started to stock their stores with a check engine code reader that did ABS too.

Diagnoses ABS codes on most 1996 and newer GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles.
It's a cheap unit and doesn't do imports. I hadn't used it but that's a cut and paste from the tools ad. Sorry

On a '95 you can read the codes from port A-3 and then clear them. If the code comes back you will at least have a code or codes to post back so that we can point you in the right direction.
The '93 to '95 ABS units are not nearly as problematic as the later models.

Did you get around to reading the ABS code?
