Default ABS Light and front left wheel sensor

My 1994 850 is now showing the ABS light problem. I brought it into the garage and they thought they fixed it by replacing the ignition switch as we were able to get the light to go on/off by just wiggling the key in the ignition. Once that was replaced the light would no longer come on when we did that test. I drove away, and then about 10 mins down the road the light came on again. I brought it back, and after a few hours, they traced it down to the front left wheel sensor. It was showing a 50ohm difference in reading.

Now my question is, do you think replacing this wheel sensor will do the trick, or will it just end up being the control module. I hear that wheel sensors are rarely the problem. Do you think that 50ohm difference could cause the problem?

Any else ever experience similar problems?

thanks!

If they are reading any difference at all it will kick the light on.

Which type of ABS module is in your car?

It is up top or underneath?

I believe the 1993 and 1994 modules hardley ever go bad it is the 1995 and newer that go bad.
