Hi, newbie (1st volvo, 96 850) abs & trac lights on, took out module, can I just put soldering iron (40W) on pins without taking apart and can i test without screwing module back on, just connecting electrically. Thanks, looks like a good forum, hope I can get an answer soon.

 

Thought someone might reply. Sorry if I don't ask correctly or ??? So I removed the module and heated the pins without taking apart the module and lights are off. Speedo still erratic, will probably opt for a rebuilt.
