Diagnose ABS Without A Scanner
Hey guys...Having ABS issues again on my '96 850. Had a similar issue about 2 years ago and I ended up replacing the ABS module with a new one. Everything was good after that.
About a week ago, I was driving and all of a sudden, my ABS and TRAC lights come on. This is what it is doing now: you start the car and no ABS light, however, everytime you hit the brakes for about the first 2-3 blocks, the ABS kicks on. After that, the ABS light comes on and it brakes fine for the rest of the drive (without ABS).
Since I replaced the module about 2 years ago, I'm thinking maybe I have a bad sensor. Since I don't have a scanner that can read ABS codes, is there a way to troubleshoot the sensors?
