Just had a new AC compressor installed and the system charged. The system works fine around town, but on the highway, it seems that a vent slowly closes shutting of the cool air. We can hear the fan blowing against a closed vent somewhere that shuts down the flow, and soon we're rolling down the windows to cool off. After the car is off for a while, AC runs well again until we go back on the highway. We have the electronic climate control system.

do any lights blink on the control unit when u first turn it on?

 

No, we don't see any lights blinking. They are all functioning properly.
